The Running Goals 5K is a 5K run/walk (3.1 miles) in Cowanshannock Township, starting at 9 a.m. on July 17, 2027. It is organized by the Armstrong East Soccer Club in partnership with the Shannock Valley Community Festival, with the aim of building community spirit and supporting youth soccer programs.
Race-day registration is available. Several water stops line the course, and snacks await at the finish. Awards go to the top runners in each age group and overall, and those who register in advance receive a T-shirt.
