About

The Run Wild 5K - Fort Wayne is a 5K (3.1 miles) through the Fort Wayne zoo, with two start options: June 4, 2027, at 6:30 p.m. or June 5, 2027, at 7 a.m. Participants choose which day to run. The course crosses varied surfaces, including concrete paths, wooden bridges, green meadows and gravel trails.

Every runner receives a race T-shirt, a timed bib and a finisher medal, plus free admission to the zoo on race day. Note that the field is limited because of the narrow paths, and race-day registration is not available.
