Run Through the Pines | 5K and 10K is a long-standing community event in San Bernardino County, held around Lake Gregory in Crestline on August 7, 2027. Participants can run or walk a 10K (6.2 miles), starting at 8 a.m., or a 5K (3.1 miles), starting at 8:30 a.m., on a partly paved course through a pine forest.

The event is open to all abilities, including children in strollers and leashed pets. Timing is done with RFID chips, and awards go to the top finishers in various age groups. Music and refreshments are on offer, and pre-registration is required.
