About

Run the Reagan takes place in Snellville, Georgia, in the second half of February, on the Ronald Reagan Parkway. The half marathon (13.1 miles) starts at 9:00 a.m., the 10K (6.2 miles) at 9:15 a.m., a 1-mile fun run at 10:30 a.m. and the 5K (3.1 miles) at 11:00 a.m.

The race is put on by the charity Run the Reagan, Inc., made up of local professionals. It raises money for local organizations, including The Lilburn Cooperative Ministry, The Brookwood Schools Foundation and The South Gwinnett Cluster Foundation, and supports area schools. It is backed by sponsors and local authorities, and it serves as a qualifying race for the AJC Peachtree Road Race. The staggered start times make it easy for families to enter several events in one morning.
