The Run for the Red, White & Blue 5K/1K in Monroe, Louisiana, offers a 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk at 8:00 a.m. and a 1K run/walk at 8:10 a.m. on May 22, 2027. This annual race supports the Chennault Aviation & Military Museum.

Held every Memorial Day weekend, it honors active-duty service members and veterans and pays tribute to those who sacrificed for freedom. The course is flat and fast, starting and finishing at the museum and passing the freedom flags. Proceeds go to the museum, and participants can enjoy free museum tours and the Aviation Park & Pavilion exhibits.
