About

The Run for the Beach 5k is Salem Sound's community race at Dane St. Beach in Beverly, Massachusetts, held on June 13, 2027. The 5K (3.1 miles) supports Salem Sound Coastwatch, an environmental nonprofit dedicated to protecting the Salem Sound watershed.

Runners, walkers and supporters are all welcome, and free beach activities include kayak and paddleboard demos, a photo booth, beach seining and an inflatable whale exhibit. A local food truck is on hand. Participants can get a limited-edition T-shirt and chip timing, and ocean-themed awards and prizes are handed out.
