About

Run for Mental Health 5K/10K/13.1 TAMPA takes place in South Bradenton on September 11, 2027. Four races are on the program, with a single 7:30 a.m. start: a half marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 km), a 10K (6.2 miles), a 5K (3.1 miles) and a 1-mile (1.6 km) Family Fun Run. The event highlights mental health awareness and welcomes runners and walkers alike.

The format suits anyone looking for a first race experience without worrying about the clock, since timing is optional and virtual participation is offered. It also suits runners starting their fall season: the 10K then provides a useful pace benchmark for what follows. The half marathon, by contrast, takes longer to prepare for and requires having kept up consistent mileage over the summer. Finishers receive a T-shirt, a medal and a digital training pack.
