About

Run for Donuts 5K/10K/13.1 NYC Central is held in New York on September 25, 2027, with four distances and a mass start at 7:30 a.m.: a half marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 km), a 10K (6.2 miles), a 5K (3.1 miles) and a 1-mile (1.6 km) Family Fun Run. The finish line comes with a donut handout.

In late September, a race like this often serves as a tune-up before the big fall goals. Run hard, the 10K gives a reliable read on current fitness; the half can work as a dress rehearsal, as long as you don't empty the tank completely. For casual participants, the 5K and the family mile are within reach without specific training. Timing is optional, start waves are limited, and registration includes a tech tee, a medal and a digital training pack.
