The Run & Cube 5K in Concord combines a 5K (3.1 miles) with the challenge of solving a scrambled 3x3x3 cube, on July 14, 2027, with a 5:45 p.m. start. Each participant receives a cube at registration and can try to solve it before or during the race.

Anyone who solves at least one face can show it at the finish line to earn a time reduction based on the number of faces completed. Proceeds will support the first speedcubing competition in Madeira as well as local school math teams. Refreshments are provided after the race.
