RUCK Cancer in McCandless Township offers a 5-mile (8 km) run and a 5K (3.1 miles) run, both starting at 9 a.m. on August 21, 2027. Participants can run with or without a rucksack.

The event supports LIV's Promise, a nonprofit dedicated to fighting childhood cancer. Held in honor of Olivia, a child with neuroblastoma, it aims to help families facing the challenges of a cancer diagnosis at a young age, as part of a community effort to make a positive difference in the lives of children battling the disease.
