The Rothwell Kebabathon is a trail race near Leeds on 15 November 2026, based at Skelton Lake Services, an eco hub on the edge of the city, with scenic routes through Rothwell Country Park. Distances range from a marathon to a 20 miler (both starting at 08:30), a 15 miler (09:00), a 5 mile (09:30) and a 10 mile (13:34).
Water stations are set out roughly every five kilometres, and friendly marshals are on hand along the course. At the finish, runners receive a bespoke medal and can refuel in a welcoming area. There is a large free car park, and car sharing is encouraged to minimise the environmental impact. The event caters for runners of all abilities, with a variety of terrain and a supportive community atmosphere.
