About

The Rotary Mission Ten takes place in San Juan Bautista, California, in late January. Races include a half marathon (13.1 miles) at 8:15 a.m., a 10-mile run at 9:00 a.m., a 5K (3.1 miles) at 9:15 a.m. and a kids' 1-mile fun run at 8:30 a.m.

Organized by the Rotary Club of Hollister, the event raises money for local scholarships and charities. Every distance starts and finishes at the historic San Juan Mission, and the course winds through farmland and hills. The half marathon and 10-mile are USATF Distance certified, making them a useful tune-up for spring marathon training. Medals are awarded by age group, themed teams can compete for trophies, and participants receive a long-sleeve dri-tech shirt and a finisher medal.
