About

The Rooster Run Walk in Canfield, Ohio, is the annual Rooster Run 5K & Duckling Dash organized by the Mahoning County Junior Fair at the Canfield Fairgrounds. On September 5, 2027, the half-mile Duckling Dash starts at 7:45 a.m., followed by the 5K run/walk at 8:00 a.m.

Participants in both races receive a medal and a wristband giving them admission to the fair. The races are chip-timed by GCXC Racing, and the 5K has awards for top overall finishers and age-group winners. Proceeds go to the Mahoning County Junior Fair to fund barn and equipment improvements that keep up with growing entry numbers.
