About

RMHSNJ's Hustle For The House brings a 5K run and a 1 mile walk to Merchantville, New Jersey, on October 24, 2026, with both leaving at 9 a.m. The event is staged in Pennsauken Township, Camden, and raises money for the Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey. People of every age are encouraged to take part, a fundraising competition runs between participants with several prizes on offer, and Halloween-themed contests are part of the day.

Because the two formats sit at opposite ends of the effort scale, families can enter the mile together while anyone treating the 5K as a race gets a flat-out twenty to thirty minutes of work. A month of consistent running covers the 5K comfortably: three or four runs a week, one of them a set of hard repetitions with full recovery. If you are also fundraising, register early so you have time to collect pledges before race morning.
