River Run Half Marathon

The River Run Half Marathon is held every September through the Cleveland Metroparks in Berea, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, with the next edition on September 12, 2027. This USATF-certified point-to-point half marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 km) follows the scenic Valley Parkway corridor along the Rocky River, from Wallace Lake to Memorial Fields, passing through both urban areas and lush forest.

A mostly downhill profile, cool early-fall temperatures and fully closed roads make it an ideal setting for chasing a personal record. Walkers start at 7 a.m. and runners at 8 a.m., and amenities include bag check, shuttles and chip timing, so the event works for first-timers and experienced runners alike.
