The River City 5 Miler/5K in Huntington, Cabell County, features a 5-mile (8 km) race and a 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk, both starting at 8:00 a.m. on July 31, 2027. It benefits the Huntington High School cross-country team and the Facing Hunger Foodbank.

The race starts at Harris Riverfront Park and follows a course through downtown and around Marshall University before returning to the park. The event fosters community spirit and invites participants to support a worthy cause.
