The Retford Half Marathon is a challenging half marathon that could still deliver a personal best, starting at Retford Rugby Club in Ordsall on 14 March 2027 at 10:00. The first five kilometres follow a flat route out of Retford along North Road towards Barnby Moor.
A gentle rise at Barnby Moor leads onto another flat stretch before a left turn towards Torworth. This section becomes a winding road with long climbs that takes runners to Blyth Road. From there, a mostly downhill section leads back to Barnby Moor, before a right turn onto a scenic country road that joins the main road towards Worksop. The final stretch brings runners back to Ordsall for a triumphant finish.
