The Reservoir Rush is a 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk in Moodus, East Haddam, Connecticut, on May 15, 2027, starting at 9:00 a.m., with a Kids Fun Run at 8:30 a.m. Runners follow quiet country roads on a flat course that loops around the scenic reservoir, with inspiring water views all along the way.
Organized by East Haddam/Moodus VFW Post 3336, the event donates all proceeds to organizations that help veterans, such as House of Heroes of Connecticut and the VETS Valor program of the Forever in My Heart Foundation, which provides service dogs to disabled veterans.
