About

The Saunders Springs Shootout presented by Radcliff/Fort Knox Tourism is a trail running and mountain biking event at Saunders Springs Nature Preserve in Radcliff, held on April 10 and 11, 2027. On April 11, the 25K (15.5 miles), 10K (6.2 miles) and 5K (3.1 miles) trail runs start at 8:00 a.m., followed at 9:00 a.m. by a Kid's Trail Run (10 and under) over a quarter mile (0.4 km). A Kid's Mountain Bike Race (10 and under) takes place on April 10 at 1:30 p.m.

The courses are mostly singletrack, combining panoramic views with challenging terrain. Proceeds go to the Saunders Springs Betterment Fund, KyMBA Lincoln Trails and the local trail community. Activities for kids are also planned.
