The Queen City Mile is a fast one-mile race (1.6 km) in the heart of Buffalo's Old First Ward neighborhood, held on August 15, 2027, at 6:00 p.m. It suits beginners and experienced runners alike.

Part of the USATF Niagara and Buffalo Runner of the Year series, it features separate men's and women's races as well as a kids' race. Presented by Checkers AC, the event gives runners a chance to push their limits and connect with Buffalo's running community. After the race, participants can enjoy refreshments at a local establishment.
