About

The Purple Day 5K in Early is part of the Early Athletic Booster Club's annual Purple Day, a community event supporting the athletic department. On August 21, 2027, the 5K (3.1 miles) starts at 8 p.m., followed by a 1-mile (1.6 km) race at 8:10 p.m.

Attendees can meet the athletes and coaching staff and enjoy bounce houses, games, a petting zoo, a cake walk, vendor booths and a silent auction. The event includes a fun run and introduces the players and coaches of every fall sports team. A wristband gives access to the activities. Awards go to top finishers in several age groups. All ages and fitness levels are welcome, but pets are not allowed.
