About

Pumpkin Run - Mentor takes place in Mentor-on-the-Lake, Ohio, on November 1, 2026, with the Pumpkin Run 5K (3.1 miles) starting at 9 a.m. The event invites participants of every age to mark Halloween in costume while covering a haunted-themed course, and both runners and walkers are welcome on the same start line.

Costumes and fast times rarely mix, so decide up front which you are here for. If you are racing, keep the outfit light and check that nothing shifts once you are moving; if you are here for the day, run it easy and enjoy the theme. Finishers collect medals, shirts, and treats afterward, and a costume contest hands out prizes for the most creative outfits in the field.
