About
The Platte River Trail 36 Hour is a no-frills 36-hour ultramarathon in Casper, Wyoming, starting at 6 p.m. on September 24, 2027.
This self-supported, fat-ass-style event is limited to just 10 runners, with no entry fee and simple rules. Athletes take on a paved 3-mile out-and-back course, aiming to log as many miles as possible, up to 100 miles, within the 36-hour time limit. Reaching 100 miles means completing 33 laps, then an extra 1-mile out-and-back to Amoco Park.
