About

Planet NY offers a range of distances on a scenic course through Flushing Meadows Corona Park in New York City, with sweeping views of the city and its landmark sights. Choose from a 5K, 10K, or half marathon (13.1 miles).

Runners get electronic chip timing with real-time tracking, along with course support including water stations and restrooms. Every athlete receives a technical T-shirt, and medals go to top finishers across several categories. Post-race snacks are provided, and the event supports the nonprofit B-Local NYC, which promotes a socially responsible business community.
