The Plainfield Harvest 5k & Kidz Miler is a long-standing community run/walk in Plainfield, held on September 26, 2027. The 10K (6.2 miles) run and 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk start at 9:15 a.m., and the Kids Miler (1 mile / 1.6 km) at 8:30 a.m.

Organized by the Plainfield Shorewood Area Chamber of Commerce, the event draws hundreds of participants every year, and proceeds go to local nonprofits and organizations. Vendor and sponsor booths add to the day. The race is run by a dedicated race committee, and participation also helps fund a thank-you luncheon.
