The Paws Along The Erie 5k is a family-friendly event in Sullivan on August 29, 2027, open to runners and walkers, dogs included, with a 5K (3.1-mile) run, a 5K run with dogs and a 5K walk, all starting at 8:30 a.m. It is organized by Wanderers Rest Humane Association Inc., a nonprofit animal shelter.

Participants enjoy a scenic out-and-back course and receive a T-shirt and a refreshing drink. The event includes a finish-line party with food, vendor booths and opportunities to meet the animals.
