About

The Palisades Half Marathon in Fort Lee, New Jersey, offers a choice on September 26, 2027: a scenic half marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 km) on paved road with significant elevation gain along the Palisades ridge, starting at 9 a.m., or a shorter 6K (3.7-mile) trail run at 9:30 a.m. over varied terrain along the Shore Trail, the Long Path and the rocky cliffs. Both races start and finish at the Ross Dock picnic area in Palisades Interstate Park.

Proceeds benefit the Palisades Parks Conservancy. Entries are non-refundable but can be transferred to another person. In extreme weather the event may be canceled, in which case entry fees become donations to park conservation. A shuttle and bike parking are available for participants.
