The Over - Under Biathlon and 5K takes place in Surf City on September 18, 2027, with a 5K paddle at 8:00 a.m. and a 5K run (3.1 miles) at 8:15 a.m. Several divisions suit different preferences: run only, paddle only, and various biathlon categories combining paddling and running.
Participants can compete individually or as relay teams. Awards go to the top finishers in each category, with age-group awards for the 5K run. Registration includes promotional items and access to a post-race gathering, and proceeds benefit Make-A-Wish Eastern NC.
