About

The ORRRC Wingman 10k is a 10K (6.2-mile) race held at EJ Nutter Park in Beavercreek, Ohio, in the Dayton area, starting at 8:30 a.m. on July 24, 2027. It honors Joshua Shepherd and others who died in military service.

Participants are placed on randomly assigned color teams to encourage teamwork and camaraderie, and a staggered start balances the competition across age and gender groups. Awards go to the top 25 overall finishers and the top color teams. The race is free for service members and veterans, and entry fees are minimal for non-members.
