About

One Step Closer is a timed loop trail race at Lincoln Park in Seattle on August 15, 2027, organized jointly by Orca Running and Evergreen Trail Runs. Runners try to cover as much distance as possible in their chosen time: 18 hours (starting at 5:00 a.m.), 12 hours (11:00 a.m.), 6 hours (5:00 p.m.) or 3 hours (8:00 p.m.).

Everyone comes together at the finish once their time is up, in a format that rewards endurance more than speed.
