About

The Oktoberfest Run Nitra is a lively sports festival held in the heart of Nitra, Slovakia, on 18 September 2027, centred on a World Athletics-certified half marathon (21.1 km) through the city's historic streets: a fast, scenic and accurately measured course. The half marathon starts at 10:00, followed by the 7.3 km Charity Run at 10:10 and the 1.3 km Family Team Run and Senior Run at 10:15.

A half marathon relay adds a competitive team element, while the charity and family runs welcome participants of every background and ability. Expect a mix of city running and festival atmosphere, with the town's market square buzzing with energy. Once across the finish line, runners can refuel with local street food, enjoy concerts and DJ sets, and take in the region's folk performances, a fitting way to celebrate the effort with an enthusiastic running community.
