Myke's Purpose 5k Run & Walk is held every year at North Central Park in Laredo, Texas, with a 5K (3.1 miles) run and a 2-mile (3.2 km) walk, both starting at 7:30 a.m. The next edition is on July 31, 2027.
You can register in advance or on race day; there is an entry fee for both options. Age groups range from 10 and under to 60 and over, with awards for the top three in each group and trophies for the overall winners. Registering before a set deadline guarantees a T-shirt. The event also features information booths, Narcan training and door prizes.
