The Music City Juneteenth Freedom Day Run/Walk brings a day of running, walking and dancing to Shelby Park, in Nashville's historic East Nashville neighborhood, Tennessee, with a 5K walk/run (3.2 miles / 5.2 km) starting at 7:30 a.m. on June 18, 2027. The event celebrates freedom and community engagement, with live music from DJ 50Cyn.

Awards go to the top male and female finishers in every group. Participants support three local nonprofits dedicated to literacy, health and youth wellness, so the morning is a chance to give back to important causes while celebrating unity and culture in a vibrant setting. The event is organized by The Timing Team & Training Ground.
