About
The Move Your Mutt 5k Run/Walk takes place on May 2, 2027, in Charlotte, Michigan, with a 5K (3.1-mile) run/walk starting at 9 a.m. It is a fundraiser for the Eaton County dog program, which supports children taking part in the Eaton County Fair dog project and helps them become skilled dog handlers and caretakers.
Dogs are welcome on a leash, up to two per participant. The event starts and finishes at the Eaton County Fairgrounds, with routes over varied terrain. Proceeds help fund educational classes and an annual show. Awards go to the top finishers, live results are available and the race is professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation.
