About

Mother's Day Half Marathon takes place on May 8, 2027, at Rockaway Beach, New York, along the ocean. Three formats are offered: the half marathon (13.1 mi), a 5K (3.1 mi) and a one-mile walk. Start times are not listed in our records.

Having a mile walk on the same program makes this an easy race to enter as a family, with everyone finishing in the same place. For the half, an oceanfront course in early May means wind off the water and little shelter: dress for the temperature at the finish rather than at the start, and expect your pace to swing by fifteen seconds a mile depending on the direction you are running.
