The Midnight Climb 6K, also known as the IHR Midnight Climb, is a one-of-a-kind night race in Louisville that starts at midnight: the gun goes off at 11:59 p.m. on July 23, 2027, for 3.7 miles (6 km) in the dark.

Runners gather near the gate on Uppill Road, where a glow-in-the-dark arch marks both the start and the finish. The course includes a climb up Rundill Road Hill and winds along Iroquois Park Road and Toppill Road. For safety, every runner must carry a headlamp or flashlight.

After the race, participants can enjoy a MoonPie and receive a glow-in-the-dark pin, capping a thrilling outing for fans of night running.
