The Memorial Day Flag Run in Black Canyon City, Arizona, is a trail run/ruck organized by Gut Check Fitness, with a 10K (6.2 miles) and a 5K (3.1 miles) both starting at 7:00 a.m. on May 22, 2027. It honors those who made the ultimate sacrifice for the nation.

Participants can carry an American flag on their own or as a team. The event takes place on the scenic trails of Black Canyon and lets you choose to run or ruck, with or without a pack. It is a cupless event to cut down on waste, and emergency water stations are staffed by U.S. Navy veterans. Donations and a portion of the proceeds go to Anthem - Daisy Mountain Veterans, a nonprofit dedicated to veterans' well-being.
