About

The Eugene Marathon takes place in Lane County, in Eugene, Oregon, over a weekend in late April. The 5K (3.1 miles) is held on Saturday, and the half marathon (13.1 miles) and the full marathon (26.2 miles) follow on Sunday, on varied courses within the city. Visitors can also see the University of Oregon's art museum, relax at the Mount Pisgah Arboretum, explore the waterfalls of Silver Falls State Park or taste wines from the Willamette Valley, known for its vineyards. Oregon spring weather can mean rain, so bring a light jacket and a change of dry clothes for after the finish.
