LSSC Shamrock Shuffle

LSSC Shamrock Shuffle takes place in Clermont, in Lake County, Florida, on March 13, 2027. Three formats share an 8:00 AM start: a 10K, a 5K and a 1-mile (1.6 km) fun run. The races begin at Lake-Sumter State College's South Lake campus and follow a scenic route along the South Lake Trail before returning to campus for the festivities. Entrants receive a shirt and a commemorative medal, awards go to the top three men and women in each category, and proceeds support the LSSC Foundation's scholarships.

A trail-path course like the South Lake Trail is smooth underfoot and free of traffic, which suits an even pace from start to finish. The mile gives kids and walkers their own event, the 5K is the natural first race, and the 10K is the pick if you already run for an hour. With everything starting together, expect the opening half mile to be crowded.
