The Long Beach Marathon weekend in Long Beach, California, offers fast, flat and scenic racing along the Southern California coast. The Aquarium of the Pacific 5K takes place on October 9, 2027, followed on October 10, 2027, by the marathon (26.2 miles / 42.2 km), the half marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 km) and an 18-mile (29 km) Bike Tour, welcoming runners and cyclists of all levels.

The marathon starts in downtown Long Beach, passes the Queen Mary, runs along the waterfront and loops around the CSU Long Beach campus before finishing on Ocean Boulevard. The USATF-certified half marathon offers ocean views for 90% of the route, with a downhill finish. Every participant receives a Long Beach-themed medal, a quality T-shirt and access to a lively finish festival with complimentary beer. VIP options round out this family-friendly race weekend.
