Livermore Valley Half

Livermore Valley Half is run in Livermore, California, on March 7, 2027. The half marathon (13.1 miles) starts at 7:30 a.m., the 5K and the youth 5K at 8:15 a.m., and a kids run closes the morning at 10:30 a.m. The event finishes into a downtown festival built around wine, beer and live music, with local wineries and breweries on hand.

With four starts spread across the morning, this one is easy to make a family day rather than a solo effort. The half is the serious distance of the group and rewards a 12- to 16-week build with a weekly long run, while the 5K options give younger runners and first-timers a short, low-pressure race. The event is put on with Livermore Downtown, Inc. and supports local charities.
