The Leavenworth Marathon is a Boston-qualifying race offering a scenic, relatively fast course through the Cascade Mountains of Washington State.
Starting from the isolated beauty of Icicle Canyon, marathoners run a loop combining paved roads, forest trails, and dirt paths along the Wenatchee River. Half marathon (13.1 miles) runners start in downtown Leavenworth and cut through the heart of the village before joining the full course. Along the way, you'll cross alpine wilderness and bridges over the river before finishing at the Enchantment Park Event Center amid an enthusiastic crowd, live music, and a festive Bavarian-themed atmosphere.
