About

The Land of the Free 5K is an annual event organized by GCXC Racing in Columbiana, Ohio, together with a Kids Fun Run. On June 26, 2027, the Kids Fun Run (0.5 miles) starts at 8:15 a.m., followed by the 5K run and 5K walk (3.1 miles) at 8:30 a.m.

The races take place at the Shaker Woods Festival grounds, with chip timing for both events. The 5K run/walk follows a road course with volunteer support and water stops, while the Kids Fun Run stays on the festival grounds.
