About

Lake Run Club's National Doughnut Day Run offers a varied program in Normal, in McLean County, on June 4, 2027, with several courses and difficulty levels: a 4-mile (6.4 km) run at 6:30 a.m., a 2-mile (3.2 km) run at 6:45 a.m., and a 5K or 10K in the evening at 5:30 p.m.

The Early Bird Doughnut 4 Mile starts at Connie Link Amphitheatre and takes a scenic route to Grove Street Bakery, where runners can refuel with a doughnut and coffee. For a short, fast option, the Gotta Get to Work 2 Mile starts from the Keg Grove parking lot, perfect for a quick effort before the workday picks up. In the evening, the Stale Doughnut event offers a self-timed 5K or 10K on the trail, with treats waiting after the run at Keg Grove. Whatever your training goals, it strikes a fine balance between physical challenge and tasty motivation.
