The Lake Auburn Half Marathon & 5K in Auburn, Maine, circles Lake Auburn, with views of the water and the surrounding countryside throughout. Scheduled for September 5, 2027, it offers a half marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 km), a 5K run and a 5K walk.

The half marathon can be run solo or as a relay, and there are courses for kids and juniors as well. Proceeds benefit Moving ME Forward, a local nonprofit that promotes health and fitness in Maine communities through mentoring and strategies for lasting health improvement. Since its creation, the race has raised significant funds, given back as financial aid, internships, mentoring and volunteer services for local community programs.
