Lafayette Reservoir Run

The Lafayette Reservoir Run, also known as the Lafayette Res Run for Education, is an annual community event in Lafayette, California, organized by the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce and the City of Lafayette. On October 18, 2026, the 5K starts at 8:00 a.m., the 10K (6.2 miles) at 8:15 a.m. and the 2-mile run at 8:45 a.m., and there is also a virtual challenge.

Proceeds go to local schools and Chamber programs. The race draws participants of all ages and levels from across the San Francisco Bay Area, including families and seasoned runners. In a past edition, the funds raised made significant donations possible to several local schools, supported educational initiatives and rewarded schools based on their participation and improvement. The event builds community spirit and supports local education through its charitable work.
