About

The Kiwanis River Run in Fresno, California, returns on September 18, 2027, with a 5K run/walk, a 2-mile fun walk/run and a 10K trail run, all starting at 8:15 a.m. This annual Kiwanis Division 5 event supports the pediatric trauma and injury prevention program at Valley Children's Hospital.

Participants receive a T-shirt, a participation medal and a free breakfast of pancakes, strawberries and whipped cream. Cold water, juice, fruit and coffee are available after the race. In the 5K, the first-, second- and third-place finishers receive a George giraffe along with a medal, while the male and female winners receive a gold medal.
