About
The Keyworth Scouts Turkey Trot Half Marathon near Nottingham is a well-organised half marathon on a scenic course through the rolling countryside of South Nottinghamshire. It takes place on 13 December 2026, starting at 10:30 in the village of Keyworth, just outside Nottingham.
The course is known for its clear signage and dedicated marshals who keep runners safe and cheer them on all the way. There are prizes for the top three overall, age-category winners, the first local runners across the line and the fastest team (based on the top three runners), and plenty of spot prizes add an extra bit of suspense. After the finish, participants can refuel with free drinks and a selection of post-race snacks.
