About

Kathy's Run for Cancer is a community event in Richland, Michigan, held at Gull Lake High School on July 2–3, 2027. It offers a 10K (6.2 miles) at 7:30 a.m. and a 5K run/walk (3.1 miles) at 7:45 a.m. on July 3, plus a 1K fun run/walk at 6:30 p.m. on July 2.

The event was inspired by Kathy, who was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer and went through treatment while keeping a positive attitude. It raises funds for local cancer centers and aims to create a nursing scholarship for graduating high school seniors. All races are professionally timed, and registration includes a tech shirt.
