The KAR 1-Mile Challenge is an annual 1-mile (1.6 km) race in Kalamazoo organized by the Kalamazoo Area Runners club, starting at 8:30 a.m. on July 17, 2027.

The race is run in separate heats by age group and expected time, allowing for both individual competition and a team scoring system aimed at families.
